The Amellicans are so fat because they eat the most processed food! But, so do the Russians… hmmm vodka as a fat burner?

As usual, the comments are way funnier than the article itself.

Food Pyramid

Googling “food pyramid” turned up a lot of interesting results!

1. Very nicely drawn.

2. Pyramid built in a restaurant.

3. China is the root of all Evil.

4. Vegan Food Pyramid

five. Diabetic Food Pyramid

6. Fruitarian Food Pyramid

A fruitarian is somebody that does not eat food that is killed or plucked. If the apple falls on the ground and you eat it, it is dead and a fruitarian will eat it. If you pull a carrot from the ground, you have massacred it.

Seven. Parrot Food Pyramid

Eating Right

Part of the reason why the Tarahumaras run so well is they eat a diet of fruits and vegetables and simple sugars.

I’ve been feeling sick, sloshy and dizzy the past week. The viral infection notwithstanding, I think I should improve my diet.

This week, I will eat: fruits, vegetables, wholemeal bread and fish. Let’s start a one week food log and see if I can improve what I shove down my gullet.

Pills
Ate twice the dosage for cold and body aches yesterday and this morning. Its early morning now. Still not well. Mucus still gathering into slimey gooey sticky clumps. I would rather they flow. Then at least I don’t feel constricted, breathless and stoppered.

Uninspired Sashimi

Weirdly enough, the Nazi uncle and grouchy auntie at our fav. Jap shop was not there! In place, were 3 chefs and 1 drink-serving lady.

The sashimi moriwase was… p.a.t.h.e.t.i.c.*

The gyu set was… lacking garlic.*

The soup was… tepid.*

Next time, dun bother to queue if the Nazi is not cooking.

* No pix because

1. So upset with the limp pieces of sashimi

2. There are no ugly pix of sashimi to be had on the integneck!

Bananarama

Bananas are goooood. Before and after strenuous exercises.

Because …

1. It contains the good type of carbs

2. It contains potassium and sodium that prevents cramps, annihilating any excuse to continue training.

3. You can slip on it and hurt your back, earning you the excuse to skip training today.

And best of all, it is always happy to see you.

Coke

People w high VO2max make great endurance athletes. What makes high VO2max? A lean body with… the body fat of a beetle. In another words, a low BMI.

My last mth’s BMI was in, not overweight but obese range.

Gotta limit the calorie intake, lil’ boru.

So difficult. Because I just had another full can of coke.

Rices

Chrissie’s pre race meal:  Industrial size bowl of tuna and tomato pasta the night before, and white bread, jam and full fat cream cheese in the morning, washed down with a big mug of English builders tea.

I could envisage myself enjoying it. =D
